Holy Sleeping-through-the-night, Batman!

So, technically Audrey has slept through the night once before (from 10pm- 5am) but I considered that a fluke. Because she fights sleep so much, it's been hard to get her on a schedule, but I really feel like we got a solid schedule worked out this weekend and last night she slept from *drum roll, please* 10pm to 8am, waking up once at 5 to eat.

WOHOO!!! That's the longest stretch of sleep I've had in the past three months.

Her new schedule has her napping five times a day (which means I have to dance her to sleep every two hours) But once we get her to put herself to sleep a little easier, we're going to try to get her to take longer naps further apart.

It's a lot of work getting this kid to sleep, but man is it worth it! Look at that smile!

Awww, that's great, but I hate to tell you this and possibly dampen your celebrations. Of course, Miss Audrey may go against the norm. Isaac slept throught the night just like that right at 3 months old for a whole 3 weeks. It was bliss, then it never happened again - EVER! Especially around 6 months, they start waking up much more frequently. But you never know.

I know I just wrote you a facebook message, but now that I've read your blog I have to say a bit more. I can't believe you're such a mommy! This is not the Gillian I once knew, but it looks like it suits you well. Congrats.

Also, I want to meet this little dragon (and a future dragon if one exist by the time my wedding rolls around). That means you need to mark your calendar now and plan a trip to the Midwest for May 1, 2010 and bring her to my wedding. It'll be baby friendly. You can even visit your family on the same trip and this is ample time to plan. You know you want to.
