In Belly News:
The baby is getting bigger (most likely around 4 lbs) and my doctor still thinks I'm boring...Both of these things are great. I'm now in the final count down: around 7 weeks left (give or take two weeks) and I'm just trying to remain boring.
I really can't complain much: The baby is crazy active as always, but it's nice to know that it's doing well...or plotting it's escape. I can still sleep enough to feel rested most mornings and I'm staying active enough not to feel like a bump on a log...all while somehow avoiding those pregnant lady cankles and sausage fingers.
To all this, I say: We'll see how I feel in another month. In the mean time, I'm wholeheartedly embracing the sleep and the blissful ignorance of not knowing what it's like to care for a newborn!

What a cute belly!!!!
All I can say is, enjoy sleep now, even with waking up 5 times during the night to pee, I would have given anything for uncomfortable pregnancy sleep after weeks of sleep deprivation with a newborn. The belly is looking incredible!! You're only one week away from the point at which Isaac decided to grace us with his untimely presence. I bet you couldn't even imagine having a baby in a week from now, that's what I thought when I was 7 weeks from my due date too, and yet, I did, and was totally unprepared. Stay boring, it's cooler.
Good job Gillian. You continue to look wonderful (boring or not)
They say some people get by fine on less that 8 hrs. of sleep. (Moms) It's the sleep that you loose when they're teens that is the issue.
You have less control and your old.
So enjoy every waking moment with that baby when he/she gets here.
Just you wait Gillian. My feet didn't start to swell constantly until the last month. But good luck!
Caring for a newborn is a piece of cake. I can care for 8 at once! Ok, not really all at once, but they're all in the same room. Sometimes crying. Like banshees.
Glad to hear all the news about your hubby, your growing abdomen, and the many things you eat at parties, breakfasts, and the like.
Has anyone started a poll for bambino or bambina? I think it's going to be a boy.
And by the way, I'm training to be a doula this summer. Thought you'd appreciate that. Love Jinnie
